Pearl received her name in honor of Pearl Harbor Day; which is her birthday. Her outstanding temperament, confirmation, health testing, and beauty make her as unique as a black pearl. She is a very friendly girl with lots of energy, spunk and love for her family. She loves people, happily bouncing around anytime we have a visitor. She is an excellent traveler, as she made the 18 hour drive to Florida with her family last summer. She was happy and content just to be in the presence of her family exploring different places. She is a very intelligent dog, trained in a few days on the invisible fence and did very well in her Puppy Kindergarten class last winter. Pearl loves to play ball, run in the backyard with the kids, take walks, go on hikes and play with other dogs. Her beautiful black coat does not shed at all and also has not affect on family members who are typically allergic to dogs.
Her health testing and confirmation are exceptional! She scored “Excellent” on her OFA hip prelims. We are so blessed to have Pearl in our breeding program and cannot wait to see the fantastic puppies she produces. Her first litter is expected in the Fall of 2013.
