Vision: To provide top-quality Australian Labradoodles for family companions that are sound in breeding lines, temperament, socialization, and confirmation
Mission:
- Select only the “best” dogs in temperament, health and confirmation to use as breeding stock
- Maintain original breeding lines of the Australian Multi-generational Labradoodle
- Keep dogs and puppies as family members first and breeding stock second
- Provide quality care for dogs and puppies
- Provide each puppy the best possible start in health care, training, nutrition, and socialization
- Match the “right” family with the “right” dog that has similar temperaments and activity levels
- Provide on-going support for families and their puppies/dogs
- Support local community and local charitable organizations
Goals:
- Select only the “best” dogs in temperament, health and confirmation as breeding stock
- Health test all breeding stock before breeding
- Select breeding stock with sound temperament
- Maintain original breeding lines of the Multi-Generational Labradoodle.
- Trace breeding stock back to original Multi-generational Australian Labradoodle blood lines
- Add lines to achieve breeding standards
- Keep dogs and puppies as family members first and breeding stock second
- All dogs, including breeding dogs, are to reside in homes with families, and to be treated as family companions
- Provide quality care for dogs and puppies
- Dogs and puppies will receive top-quality vet care, nutrition, training, and socialization
- Provide each puppy the best possible start in health care, training, nutrition, and socialization
- Follow developmentally appropriate training program for puppies
- Micro-chip, vaccinate, de-worm, and have all puppies vet examined
- Begin house and crate training of all puppies
- Match the “right dog” with the “right family”
- Screen families before puppy placement
- To provide on-going support for families and their puppies/dogs
- Give families on-going (life-time) support
- Support re-homing by AVL of its puppies/dogs, if needed
- “Give back” to the local community and local charitable organizations
